Perfect Life

At the beginning of time, when the world of God and humanity was split in two, God declares enmity between His seed and the evil one, over the souls of humanity. Held captive by the evil one, bridled by sin and unable to break free from the propensity to defy Him, we learn to run from the presence of God. Even if our worlds can be united, we are still unfit for relationship. Only what is holy and righteous can survive God’s presence. Through evolution we’ve adapted, to survive in darkness, and are no longer fit to live in His Kingdom. God requires righteousness to bridge the divide between our worlds, but there is seemingly insurmountable resistance. The evil one launches attacks to get back at God. Our flesh fights against the authority and will of the God and the darkness of our world has become a cloak that denies the existence of light. To mend our worlds back together, Jesus must overcome all three. Jesus, like any other hero, finds himself perplexed to fight several villains at the same time; the evil one, the temptation of our world and his own desires. He must rise victorious over all three to fulfill his destiny to avoid sin and obey perfectly. His character must be tested to verify His purity, because that’s what God requires. No righteousness, no relationship. His loyalty must be tested to verify His humanity, because that’s what humanity requires. No guts, no glory. After a torturous battle, Jesus rises victorious. Pulled in three different directions, He obeys the will of God the Father, disarms the weapons of this earthly warfare, and defeats sin. Homage is paid to God’s holy and righteous nature and God’s promise and prophecy is fulfilled. Completing this divine task captures the heart of God the Father and redeems God’s divine design for humanity. This seemingly impossible feat wins the respect and heart of humanity. The secret to His power is found in his origin story. Born of both worlds, in Him, the two become one. Authenticated as both man and God, He becomes the mediator to bro-
ker peace between our worlds. Unto us is given a gift of peace.
